this tedious style of quilting was most popular in the 2Os-4Os & typically only used as adornments over bedding or a chair; now, after being restored, it is a piece of hangable & wearable art
select pieces were carefully seamripped then hand-sewn for a completely seamless design – zero circles from the quilt were cut or compromised in the process
