this comforter reminded me of a child’s lovey: incredibly soft & impossible to fathom throwing into a landfill with all those special memories attached
surely, this had gotten plenty of use & hence, needed significant help to be workable – the batting was bunched & uneven but after some trimming, topstitching, the panels proved to be worth saving
it’s still lumpy & quite imperfect, yet terribly comfy with a soft cotton lining
